Shipping Policies
Shipping is an integral component of MusicShifter's business. Here is a description of our 3-way shipping process:
Shipping methods and costs are determined at the time of order by the customer.
Upon receiving your CD collection, MusicShifter will process your order according to the priority you chose (Standard 4~6 business days, Priority 2-day* guaranteed, Extra Urgent 1-day* guaranteed).
Refunds and Returns

MusicShifter does not offer wholesale returns.
Quality
MusicShifter focuses on providing quality service for its customers. This covers everything from presenting an easy-to-understand website, to order processing, to handling your CD collection with care, and to producing the highest quality music conversions.
However there will be cases when some of your CDs may not be in their original "pristine" condition as when you first bought them. We understand, we have well-loved CD collections also.
MusicShifter is able to detect most errors as they occur during the encoding process. These errors can be the result of badly scratched discs, or discs suffering from oxidation (aka. "CD Rot"). Most "normal" discs with only light surface scratches do not pose a problem for our ripping machines.
If an error is detected, MusicShifter will try to fix the error by cleaning the CD, and reprocessing it. If the disc is too badly damaged and cannot be read, MusicShifter will be unable to encode the disc properly without errors and will recommend replacement.
